En la presente investigación se abordaron los fundamentos jurídicos que deben regir en la tipología y las
formas jurídicas organizativas de las empresas de intermediación turística y en especial de las agencias
de viajes, para lograr el eficaz funcionamiento de las mismas dentro de un marco socioeconómico acorde
a la nueva realidad en Cuba. En la esfera del turismo la intermediación turística, es la actividad que hace
posible el desarrollo de las demás empresas en el sector y sirve de enlace entre el turista y las restantes
empresas turísticas; a tales efectos, se determinaron las bases jurídicas que deben sustentar la actividad
para contribuir al perfeccionamiento de su régimen jurídico. Acorde a los resultados obtenidos, con este
estudio teórico-doctrinal de las empresas de intermediación turística, se alcanza la armonía que demanda
la política turística interna, para lograr un mayor y más eficaz, respaldo legal en su funcionamiento.; ABSTRACT:
In this research, there is a study of the legal basis that should govern the typology and organizational
legal forms of touristic intermediation companies and especially travel agencies. So, there were an effective
functioning as the ones in Cuba, according to a new social and economic reality. In tourism, touristic
intermediation is the activity that makes possible the development of others companies in the industry and
serves as a link between the tourist and the remaining tourism companies; to that end, the legal bases
were determined to sustain the activity to contribute to the improvement of their legal status. The results
obtained with this theoretical and doctrinal study of touristic intermediation companies shows the harmony
that demands internal tourism policy to achieve greater and more effective legal, backup operation
